Kookabookra Project

Overview

  • Kookabookra Gold Project, 130 km² in New England Orogen, NSW, 50 km north of Hillgrove Au-Sb Project.
  • Prospective for intrusion-related gold mineralisation, similar to Timbarra Gold Deposit (16.8Mt @ 0.73g/t Au).
  • Historical mining (1870s-1890s) focused on high-grade quartz veins with up to 42.6g/t Au.
  • Recent drilling at Mt Secret and Mannix prospects found low-grade gold mineralisation (up to 4.41/t Au).
  • Historical reefs and veins are unexplored by modern drilling, suggesting potential for higher-grade gold.
  • Low-grade antimony in veins provides opportunity to explore for Hillgrove-style Au-Sb mineralisation.
  • Further exploration needed to assess deeper, higher-grade gold potential.
